What is the 1115 Waiver?
The opportunity we refer to is related to Medicaid funding and the ongoing process of reform of how Medicaid funds are spent by the Federal and NY State government, with the goals of improving health for people on Medicaid, providing better care, and controlling the costs. The proposed amendment has a strong focus on health equity and the integration of social care and may present new opportunities for partnership and involvement for those who work in these areas.
